Fleas
Does it have fleas, ticks. Oh and just so you know I didn’t touch it but got near it.

If you did not touch it, you’re OK. The diseases one would worry about (particularly rabies) require not only contact but broken skin, as in a bite.
Of course, it could have ticks or fleas. Just exactly how close did you get??? Ticks are slow moving, and would probably need contact. Fleas can jump, but were probably still comfortable on their injured host. I doubt they’d abandon ship and jump to you.
You were wise not to touch it. Hard, though, huh.

Yes it has fleas and ticks and can also carry rabies. As long as you didn’t touch it your o.k. Get the animal out of its misery if its still alive. If you live in the country then nature will take care of the remains, if its in your yard, pick up the remains with a shovel, place in a container to dump it in the woods, let the circle of life take care of it. As long as you just got near it, no fleas or ticks jumped off of you, your safe
