How can you remove green dye from a dog’s fur?

I am a kennel worker and a beagel mix that i work with had a flea collar put on her neck. She drooled and it got on the collar causing it to bleed onto her. It is green color. We’ve tried everything, but nohing worked. And I don’t want to irritate the skin.

If you have washed the fur with a gentle shampoo and is has not removed it then there is not much else you can do. It will wear off in time if not it will go when the dog sheds its coat. Using anything other than shampoo will probably irritate the dogs skin.

try hand lotion rub it into the fur then wash out the oil in the lotion will help break down the dye…
Now you work in a kennel as a kennel worker you should know flea collars don’t work and the chemicals that are in those collars are toxic to dogs can can cause kidney or liver problems.. So please tell your clients to throw those collars out ASAP

Unless it’s toxic why not let it grow out? And God forbid you should pick up the phone and actually call someone qualified to advise you, such as a vet, instead of asking unqualified strangers on the internet who could give you harmful answers!

That toxic flea collar should never be used on dogs in the first place. Call the vet.

Surgical spirit or dilute hydrogen peroxide should work – or, it should just come off in time.
Please take the flea collar off, because they don’t work – all it’s doing is making your dog’s fleas hide at the other end of him, or under his belly! Get a proper flea treatment from a vet and don’t waste time and money and endanger your pet with store-bought products.
