help with fogging for fleas in my apartment???
can someone help me out i have a bunch of questions?
1. i live in an aparment, there is me downstairs and someone in an upstairs… do i have to warn her? is there a way it can go through vents and somehow reach her??
2. what do i have to wash after fogging? i have a down comforter, how do i wash this? what about the mattress? all my clothes, even in the dresser need to be washed? should i take my curtains down and wash them?
3. what about other items, shoes, purses, etc?
4. what about sprays and borax powder? any experience with them?
i don’t even know how bad my problem is… i’ve never felt a bite or seen a flea… i have 2 completely indoor cats and one was scratching a lot and i took him to the vet and she took one or 2 fleas off him. i’m freaking out now. i’ve had that creepy crawly feelign since i found out. i dont’ even know how they got in!
thanks for any help at all on this subject.

If you have never seen a flea or had a bite, I don’t think you need to use a flea fogger. I believe that’s only for a bad infestation. When we had a cat, we used Advantage on him. One drop once a month and there were no problems.
Years ago, we moved into a place that turned out to have fleas. I did use a flea bomb then. I set it off in the living room, and I don’t remember having to wash all the clothes, curtains, etc. I don’t think you need to worry about shoes and stuff like that. I probably would just wash the dishes in the cupboards and let it go. I would go by what the directions say. Don’t worry about the upstairs apartment, the bomb stuff isn’t going to travel that far.
Good luck!

If you live in an apt… You can tape some plastic or even newspaper over your vents to keep the fogger IN !
