Is society a scam to control and turn us into worker ants?

Lol, i love how ppl assume to know what im thinking.. I ASK BECAUSE I WANT OPINIONS IN ORDER TO FORM MY OWN, not because im a bludger who doesnt want any part in it. But anyway, if you feel the need to read more into it than there is, thats your choice..

No. Society is a means for people to get a lot more done than each could using the “every man for himself” method. Sure sometimes there are disadvantages, but in general they are very small compared to the advantages.
And it’s still a pretty big world, you really do have the opportunity to go off to some island or mountaintop and “go it alone” if that’s what you prefer to “society.”

there are people in the country who actually want to work but dont have the opportunity.
society’s main function is to provide a shared morality. however loosely defined it keeps the will of the majority of the people in the forefront. society is a reminder than no-one is an island and that our actions impact others whether intentionally or not

If so, you need to answer the question: “Who’s running the scam?”
If your society is run by Somebody who benefits from the rules, maybe so. I don’t think it’s that simple.
