		<description>Been told by exterminator that carpenter ants do not nest in homes.
Doing some renovation &amp; did find some damage.
They gave me some &quot;dust&quot; to spread around to protect new framing.
Apparently they track it back to the nest &amp; it kills them or at least makes them puke.
Did find the nest in a small pile of firewood which is common.
If they want in or out the card is just a snack.

		<description>a more natural approach would be to sprinkls pepper or cinnimon right where they are coming in . if the nest is exposed , borrow a shop vac and suck the nest up, than empty it into a trash bag, tie it up tight, and dispose of it immediatly. Hope I helped
